Why HCDI Trading?
Value
When it comes to
purchasing a computer, there are many choices out there these days. Whether you
are buying for home use, business, or both, there are hundreds of computer
dealers vying for your business, and just as many different kinds of computers
available today. These computers range from low quality bare bones systems to
$10,000.00 gaming machines. With such variety available in the market place
today, it can be difficult to know if you are making the correct decision. Many
large retailers try to entice you by offering low quality systems at seemingly
bargain prices. What you may not realize is that many of these so called
"bargain" computers are designed with one thing in mind, to fool you into
believing you are getting a quality computer for less. Often times these
"bargain" computers are built with substandard parts, cannot be upgraded, have
Support facilities based in countries that do not speak our language and are
poorly warranted. Don’t you deserve better? We think you do! At HCDI Trading, we
start with the best of the best, you won’t see us skimp on quality simply to
make a buck. All of our computers were constructed with the best technologies
available at the time. HCDI Trading’s computers undergo thorough testing and
refurbishing to ensure that they are in excellent working condition; our
computers never leave our facilities until our experts have subjected them to
stringent quality control standards. This includes individual testing of every
component, and three separate system tests on every completed machine to
guarantee that you receive what you expect, a quality computer that works,
guaranteed. All of this, at huge discounts off retail pricing.
Processor Speed
What is processor
speed? Many of the newest systems offer speeds up to 3.0 GHz and higher, with
major industry leaders promising even faster speeds to come soon. With these
speeds come either exorbitant pricing, or "bargains" that are simply too good to
be true. Computer dealers will try to convince you that a computer’s worth is
based on its speed, however, two computers with the same speed can, based on
their configuration, offer completely different performances. For example, a
Pentium chip and a Celeron chip will offer a completely different performance
due to their differing designs. A Pentium III 1 GHZ processor can in certain
instances out perform a Celeron 1.8 GHZ processor, simply because of their
design differences. The truth is, the average user cannot utilize this much
"speed". The average Home User is surfing the web, sending e-mails, doing some
word processing, and playing some low intensity games. For the "average" user, a
Celeron 1.7 GHz computer is all that they will ever need. This is also true for
the average Business User. Why buy more than you need? Why spend more than you
need to? Keep in mind also that, as processor speeds increase across the board,
it becomes less important as a component to scrutinize when selecting your
computer. With the currently offered “average” speeds on the market, you can
afford (both money and time) to pay more attention to the other factors
governing your computer’s performance and the functions by which it will suit
your needs.
Performance
As discussed under
processor speed, computer dealers will often represent processor speed as the
end all, be all of a computers worth, however, we know this isn’t true. Our
computers are not necessarily for the "high end" gamers out there, however, many
of our computers can be configured to support most existing games. For Example,
our Dell Optiplex GX270 Tower could be upgraded to 1GB RAM and can accept most
of today’s latest video and sound cards. As many of you know, a computer’s
performance is probably more reliant on the memory and expansion cards it
contains than its processor speed. When you can own a computer that offers
similar performance to today’s latest and greatest, at a fraction of the cost
and with negligible differences in overall performance, doesn’t it make sense to
keep your money where it belongs? In your pocket.
